September 24, 2026

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Blue Jackets are proud to host the fourth annual OBJ Challenge Cup this weekend, welcoming 67 teams representing 31 programs from across the United States and Canada. Featuring the 2013 through 2017 birth years, the tournament will bring together players, coaches and families for a weekend of competition and camaraderie.

Games will take place at OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks throughout the Columbus area and well as Lou & Gibb Reese Ice Arena in Newark, with Chiller North serving as tournament headquarters. Tournament merchandise will be available through Team Xpress.

The weekend also offers an opportunity to support the OBJ 12U team’s journey to the prestigious Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament in February. The team will host a YETI cooler raffle and sell college football squares and hockey cards to help fund the experience.

The Ohio Blue Jackets thank all participating teams, families and partners for helping make the Challenge Cup a memorable weekend and look forward to welcoming everyone to Columbus.
