January 30, 2026
For more than 20 years, the Ohio Blue Jackets program has been cultivating character, excellence and opportunity in central Ohio since 2004, fostering both exceptional hockey players and young people.
Today, that foundation is coming full circle.
We are proud to officially announce the Performance Impact Arena: a new home for the Ohio Blue Jackets and a future hub for hockey in Central Ohio. Located in Delaware, Ohio, this state-of-the-art facility will support player development, leadership training, and community engagement for generations to come.
The Performance Impact Arena will be a place where boys and girls chase their dreams, where families gather, and where the next generation of hockey players, and people, are developed. Located on the Maridel Campus in Delaware County, the facility will become the premier destination for hockey excellence in Central Ohio, providing a "one-stop-shop" for players and families while establishing our region as a hub for tournaments and events.
This is more than building an arena, it's about building character, community, and opportunity.
Together, we will create a legacy that develops young people who will lead with process, respect, integrity, determination, and excellence for years to come.
After years of work, the program has launched a $5 million fundraising goal will allow us to be shovel-ready and break ground in 2026!
